General comments: The wine is the result of the blending of two noble varieties, Syrah and Viognier, according to the methods from the northern part of the Rhone region of France. It is produced by people who share the zeal and vision to create a “great” wine from Evia. Agios (Saint) is the time that helps fine wine to grow and become great, just as Saint was the time that taught him how to make wine. Grape varieties: Syrah 92%, Viognier 8% Type: Red wine sec Category: Protected Geographical Indication “Evia” Characteristics: Ruby color dark, nose with intense complex bouquet, aroma of violets, licorice and red fruits. Rich spicy palatine, delicate, velvety tannins, with fine granulation, slightly high acidity. Intense apricot flavors are beautifully mixed with sweet red fruits, spices and long finish. Region: Aphrati & Mytikas – Evia Vinification: Co-vinification of the two varieties and long-lasting skin contact. Aged in French oak for 12 months. Aging potential: 10 years. Carafe: Unfiltered wine. Any amount of sediment in the glass is very normal. It is recommended to decant 30 minutes before consumption. Alcohol: 13.5% vol. Culinary associations: beef or pork, lamb steak / food, spicy meat, spicy poultry. Serve at 18-19C, decant 30 minutes before consumption.
