The name Alira is a marriage between the names of the towns Aliman and Rasova. Where the vineyards are located and where the wine is born.
After manual picking and the careful selection of the grapes from which ALIRA Grand Vin will be produced. Comes a world-class vinification, including carefully controlled fermentation and aging in the best oak barrels.
Colour: Ruby red.
Bouquet: Notes of sour Cherries, toasted bread, dried Tomatoes, truffles, dried plums, raisins and vanilla, due to oak maturation for 14 months.
Taste: Chocolate, oregano and eucalyptus. Mature and harmonious tannins. The finish is long and sweet, the aftertaste contains spicy notes.
Food pairings: It is a suitable companion for red meat, from veal goulash to game in sauce. Best served next to a plate of matured cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16 – 18° C.
