The name of this assortment is a tribute to Johann Siegart, who in 1824 founded the Angostura house in the city of the same name in Venezuela. Now the rum is produced in Trinidad and is a high quality assortment, carefully selected by the master blender. Angostura is a blend of rum matured for 12 years in carbonized barrels on the inside, made of American oak, previously used for bourbon. The rum can be enjoyed simply, with ice, with a cigar. Tasting notes: Smell: Notes of dried fruit, superbly balanced by caramel tones, orange peel and woody spices. Taste: Sweet aromas of dried peaches, orange peel, raisins, plums and caramel, with vanilla and honey influences and spicy accents. Finish: Long, fragrant. Color: Amber, with reddish tones.
