Arran Distillery masters the art of creating spectacular single malt varieties. This is also the case with this whiskey. Arran Sauternes Cask Finish is aged for eight years in traditional oak barrels. Then it is aged in Sauternes sweet Whitewine barrels, one of the most famous dessert wine-producing areas. The result is splendid, complex and sophisticated. It has an aromatic balance synonymous with perfection and an excellent harmony between the exotic notes borrowed from wine barrels and the typical aromas that define the Arran style. Color: gold. Bouquet: opens with mild notes of acacia honey, then displays vanilla, raisin and apricot accents. Taste: sweet-spicy, dominated by aromas of apricot, melon, honey and honeysuckle. A drop of water lightens citrus. Finish: Citric, aromatic.
