Caorunn is distilled in the Highlands, Scotland, where five local ingredients grind the splendid character of an unparalleled artisanal gin, distilled in small batches. Gin Master Simon Buley uses the purest alcohol from cereals, pure spring water and 11 plants to create a gin with tradition for the modern world. Cinnamon is the main ingredient in gin and the plant that inspires its name. Next to it we find myrtle, black grass, red apple and dandelion leaf, all specifically Scottish ingredients that give special flavors to gin. Caorunn, pronounced ‘ka-roon’, behaves exemplary in a Gin Tonic mix, and the tasting becomes even more special if we add two slices of red apple to the combinestion. Tasting notes: Smell: Fresh, crunchy bouquet, described by floral notes, citrus impressions and finely spiced breezes. Fresh, dry, slightly balsamic. Color: Colorless.
