Distilled from the best sugar cane, Cayo Grande Ron Blanco can be enjoyed simply, but it is recommended more for mixes because it creates an excellent base without changing their color. The slightly sweet bouquet is due to being kept in oak barrels for six months, at the end of which the rum is filtered to obtain a colorless drink. The rum retains excellent aromas borrowed from the walls of the barrels during the short maturation period, outlining an expressive bouquet. Tasting notes: Smell: Rich notes of fruit, especially bananas and green apple, lightly peppered and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Taste: Sweet, dominated by fruity aromas, accents of brown sugar and nuts. Finish: Slightly sweet. Color: Colorless.
