It’s versatile. We mix several young wines from a few different years to give our fine Ruby the richness and the fresh fruit you would expect from a young port. Then it matures for several years in large vats, which gives it both its wonderful softness and the aromas of ripe red fruits. It also retains the intense purple color of a beautiful and bright young port wine.
