Purcari sparkling wines are a tribute to generations of winemakers who have been passionate about their work, and also have been creating unique varieties for almost two centuries.
Cuvee de Purcari White Brut Double Magnum is made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. Obtained using the classic fermentation method. Aged in the glass. Developing a fine, elegant and persistent pearl. Has a beautiful structure that shows a fresh, complex and and also balanced bouquet.
Varieties: 60% Chardonnay; 25% Pinot Blanc; 15% Pinot Noir.
Color: light yellow.
Bouquet: fresh citrus aromas; additionally floral nuances and rust.
Taste: complex, clean and elegant. Aromas of yellow-pitted fruit, especially peaches, surrounded by mineral accents. Lastly a long, balanced aftertaste.
Culinary combinations: appetizer, or eaten with fish, seafood, and lastly desserts.
Serving temperature: 5 – 7° C.
Founded in 1827, Purcari Winery is the oldest winery in Moldova. In two centuries has managed to become a popular winery in Central and Western Europe according to Decanter, DAWA and also Effervescent du Monde.
