The Dutch gin Damrak is called the port where, in the 17th century, ships from the Indies docked with fruits, herbs and spices from distant places. Some of these plants are used today in the recipe of this authentic Dutch gin, which is far from ordinary London dry gin. The imprint of 17 ingredients outlines the unmistakable Damrak taste, among them Curaçao orange peels, Valencia oranges, lemons, lavender and, of course, juniper, the basis of any gin. A few spices come to give even more charisma to the aromatic palette through tones of cinnamon, coriander and anise, so Demrak becomes a caress of mixes, fitting perfectly into a fresh and tasty Gin Tonic.
