Big Peat first appears at the end of 2009. It uses the most famous malts of Islay Island, especially Bowmore, Caol Ila, Ardbeg and Port Ellen. Douglas Laing created an original whiskey from various single malts. The product looks fun, with an image of Pete Ileach hit by a Taste of wind. Big Peat pays tribute to the locals with this complex drink. The bouquet is expressive, the sea water and the notes of ash being easily distinguished, along with licorice and smoke. Straw yellow color and long finish with smoky notes.
