Grant’s Ale Cask 0.7L

Grant’s Ale Cask is the only aged Scotch whiskey in beer kegs, making this range unique in Scotland. The blend is part of Grant’s Cask Editions and was launched in 2001. It includes approximately 40% single malt whiskey varieties belonging to a number of 20-30 distilleries and 60% cereal whiskey (Girvan). This special blend is produced without drying the malt by smoking. In order for the whiskey to borrow the complex aromas of the beer, the oak barrels are kept in the best conditions. The Master Blender fills the barrels with beer, and after 30 days it replaces it with Grant’s whiskey, which is additionally aged for 4 months. Tasting notes: Smell: A classic flavor of cereal and honey, well balanced. Taste: A bold but balanced aromatic profile, with sweet notes of vanilla, honey and velvety grain accents. Finish: Aromatic, with cereal tones and a touch of yeast. Color: Amber gold.
