The Herencia Mexicana brand produces its tequila at La Fortuna Distillery, located in the Mexican state of Jalisco. The distillery works exclusively with Agave Leaves, which are dried for at least 7 years. By the double distillation method, the agave juice is first fermented and then distilled again, then matured in Whiteoak barrels, thus producing an unmistakable aroma. The bouquet has an enticing scent of vanilla, oak and agave. These aromas continue on the palate which is a harmony between oak, vanilla, red pepper and sweet agave. The finish is a long and pleasant one that delights tequila lovers with notes of ripe banana, caramel and spices. This tequila has a rum-like color, an amber color.
