The manufacturing process of the barrels is as important as the manufacturing process of the famous Old no. 7, because it influences the aroma of the drink. Maturation lasts as long as necessary, the distillery tasters being the ones who decide when the taste reaches perfection, based on instinct, just as Jack Daniel did. Charcoal filtration gives the assortment a texture of perfect finesse and a sweet, caramelized aroma, which defines the unmistakable taste of Jack Daniel’s Old no. 7. Tasting notes: Smell: Captivating notes of caramel and raisins, dry spices and nuts, to which are added tones of resins. Taste: Sweet, fine, with aromas of chocolate, orange, cinnamon, walnuts and woody tones. Finish: Sweet, with woody accents. Color: Intense amber.
