Dalamara Winery is a boutique winery with a history dating back to 1840. Today the winery is run by Kostis Dalamara, a young but remarkably talented oenologist trained in Burgundy, who represents the 6th generation of a family of oenologists. Dry Whitewine with a slight oxidative character; was creatively described by Yiannis Karakakis MW as being a Greek version of sherry. The specific characteristics of the wine are the result of the maturation method, respectively the maturation in oak barrels with controlled exposure to oxygen (incomplete barrels) . Color: straw yellow, with green reflections Bouquet: aromas of spices and nuts, honey and dried herbs Taste: creamy, tasty texture; medium body weight balanced by pleasant acidity and judicious use of sweeping in oak barrels Culinary combinations: seafood or fish as well as Whitemeat or grilled vegetables, these being pleasantly valued by the specific character of the wine Serving temperature 8º-10ºC.
