Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz is the image of the Australian Shiraz in a warm climate – ripe, robust and generously flavored. First made in 1959, Bin 28 is named after the famous Barossa Valley Kalimna Vineyard vineyard bought by Penfolds in 1945 and from which the wine originally came. Today, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vine blend with the Barossa Valley always well representsd. n Bouquet: exuberant aromatics – red licorice and red currants; goji berries, wild raspberries and red fruits; little sandalwood. Taste: well balanced. Black fruits, grainy / sandy tannins, tobacco, tobasco and tamarind.
