For more than 100 years, Speyburn Distillery has been following its instincts and defying the rules to obtain a unique single malt, which fully highlights the character of the Speyside region. Created in 1897, Speyburn 10 years still retains the same quality and the same classic and clean taste, repeatedly awarded in profile competitions. The assortment is aged for a period of 10 years in a combinestion of American oak barrels, originally used for bourbon and sherry and has an elegant, delicate character, with a medium body, which is why it does not need added water, being an easy to drink single malt. Tasting notes: Smell: Friendly notes of orange jam, freshly grated lemon peel, honey, caramel, spices and a splash of mint. Taste: A velvety, beautifully balanced bouquet, with sweet aromas of honey, caramels salty, black grass, woody notes, pears, apples and cinnamon influences. Finish: Long, sweet, fruity. Color: Intense gold.
