The assortment was launched in 2000, and its name is inspired by the small still in which it is distilled, which bears no. 10 and which in the ’30s was used as a sample. Tanqueray recipe no. 10 starts from the standard recipe, to which are added eight new flavors, including Florida oranges, Mexican lime, chamomile and fresh grapefruit. The use of fresh fruit instead of dried peels gives expressiveness and freshness to the drink. Tanqueray no. 10 is considered the ideal gin for Martini and Negroni. Its aromatic palette and spicy core recommend this gin as a base for many more cocktails than the traditional Tanqueray London Dry Gin. Tasting notes: Smell: A harmonious ensemble, combinesng notes of pink grapefruit, chamomile and spruce. Taste: A suite of aromas of juniper, angelica, Whitepepper and coriander, placed on a citrus base, dominated by orange and lime tones. Finish: Long, fine, aromatic. Color: Colorless.
