The Pogues 0.7L

The Pogues Irish Whiskey is a unique assortment, consisting of 50% single malt Irish whiskey aged for 10 years in sherry barrels and single malt Irish whiskey aged for 7 years in bourbon barrels, while the rest 50% is grain whiskey aged 4 years in bourbon barrels. The whiskeys that are part of the blend are distilled from the best quality local ingredients and pure spring water, and the result is excellent. Barry Walsh and Frank McHardy use handmade copper stills to make this sweet, intense and velvety bouquet blend, produced in small batches. Tasting notes: Smell: A harmonious blend of sweet notes, especially cereal, biscuit, malt and nuts. Taste: The Pogues is a friendly, easy-drinking blend with a bouquet dominated by flavors of cereal, apple, honey , nutmeg, nuts and subtle ginger influences. Finish: Medium. Color: Intense amber.
