Togouchi is a blend of Japanese whiskey consisting of 40% Scottish malt and 60% Canadian cereal from producers Chugoku Jozo, who ripens his whiskeys in a tunnel. Togouchi is aged in oak barrels for 12 years. The taste has woody notes, due to maturation in oak barrels, fruits, cereals and light spicy spices. The finish is longer than you might expect, with hints of caramel and citrus.
