Tsantali Rapsani Reserve is a wine with a great aging potential that evolves in the depth of its character. Variety: Xinomavro (1/3), Krassato (1/3), Stavroto (1/3) Designation of Origin (PDO) Rapsani Harvesting: hand-picked in late September – mid-October. Traditional fermentation for 8-10 days in open cement tanks. The ferments are thrown away manually or even three times a day for easy extraction. Malolactic fermentation. Maturation: 12 months in French oak barrels 300 Lt (40% new – 60% second and third filling). Aging: at least 12 months in the glass before release Color: ruby red. Bouquet: aromas of blackberries and juicy plums with elegant notes of spices, leather and licorice. Taste: round and rich, with balanced acidity and persistent tannins. Medium to long finish.
