Ambonnay Rouge Grand Cru Coteaux Champenoise – 2014 – Coteaux Champenoise

The wine has an impressive concentration and aromatic amplitude. The tones conferred by the maturation in the wood are perfectly integrated between the fruity sensations, working together to achieve an athletic structure. The aftertaste is long, sober, with classic, seductive touches. Intense aromas of ripe cherries, tobacco leaves, licorice and leather. The grapes for this wine come from an old vineyard, with an extremely low yield per hectare. It was made directly in oak barrels, barrique type, 30% new, with a maturation period of 22 months. The wine was bottle without prior filtration.
