Baron V. Fournier Armagnac 1996

Armagnac has been produced in the south-west of France, in the heart of the Gascony region, since the 14th century. The vineyard is located in Lannepax, in the department of Gers (150 km south of Bordeaux). After distillation, the Armagnac is aged in 350 l black oak barrels from the forests of Gascony and Limousin. It is one of the best choices as an aperitif or as a digestive, it is served in small sips after the drink has been previously aerated in the glass, like wine. Color: intense amber color, with copper reflections Bouquet: delightful aromas of fresh red fruits, citrus and spring flowers Taste: ample and opulent, with strong hazelnut aromas , prunes, chocolate, oak, candied fruit, almonds and vanilla
