Dalamara Winery is a boutique winery with a history dating back to 1840. Today the winery is run by Kostis Dalamara, a young but remarkably talented oenologist trained in Burgundy, who represents the 6th generation of a family of oenologists. Kostis and his wife, Maria Doulgeridou, grow about 6 hectares of organically grown grapes in the Naoussa region. in Gevrey-Chambertin, Alsace, Roussillon and Catalonia, Spain to focus on terroir-focused winemaking, spontaneous fermentation and significantly reduced use of SO2. A blend in which the tannins and acidity for which the Greek variety Xinomavro is famous are perfectly complemented by the fullness and fruitiness of Merlot. Fermented in stainless steel tanks followed by sweeping for 6 months in French oak barrels.
