Budureasca Orange Wine
For Budureasca Orange wine, the winery’s oenologist chose the Sauvignon Blanc and Feteasca Royal varieties for their high aromatic potential.
The grapes were peeled and lightly pressed, then left to ferment on the skins for three weeks at a temperature of around 18–20 °C, during which daily reassembling was carried out (a process aimed at obtaining wet grape skins), e.g Extraction of aromas, tannins and color. Aged in French oak barrels for six months.
Color: Orange wine immediately impresses with its yellow-orange color, which emits a light all of its own.
Bouquet: The aromas lead us to wildflowers, white peach and subtle notes of spicy oak.
Taste: characterized by a fine and elegant tannin texture reminiscent of apricots.
Food pairings: fish; cheese; chicken and pork; oriental dishes; grilled vegetable skewers; Sea Salt Chocolate.
Serving temperature: 12 – 14°C.
