Cabernet Sauvignon, Panciu Riserva, without added sulfitesVariety notes: Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the most widespread vine varieties in the world, occupying a total area of ​​almost 341000ha. It appeared in the 17th century after crossing the Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc varieties. Panciu Riserva Cabernet Sauvignon is the first red wine produced without the addition of sulfites from the Panciu Domains portfolio. For its manufacture, several innovative technological processes were applied, which allowed the complete exclusion of sulfur dioxide from the vinification procedures. The permanent protection of the raw material in an inert gas atmosphere, the fermentation of the must with selected yeasts that consume large amounts of oxygen in metabolic processes and the controlled malo-lactic fermentation of wine, are the main principles that formed the basis of these processes. The wine obtained contains an insignificant amount of sulfur dioxide (& lt; 10 mg / l), which occurs naturally especially during alcoholic fermentation. Tasting notes: Panciu Riserva Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry wine with an intense red color with shades of purple. The predominant aromas are those of red fruits, especially cherries and blackcurrants. Balanced taste with notes of dried figs, pomegranates, green bell peppers and licorice with a slightly spicy aftertaste.
