Castello Banfi Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG Located between the Orcia and Ombrone rivers on the southern slopes of the Montalcino region of Tuscany, the Catello Banfi estate is unique in terms of wine culture and tradition.

A plethora of distinct vineyards together make up a third of the total 3,000 hectares of the estate. Each vineyard is unique in terms of terroir. They are united in terms of tradition and production. Castello Banfi wines are the result of a careful selection of grapes from the best vineyards in Montalcino.

An unwavering example of an ancient and wise wine-making tradition combined with innovative technologies in winemaking and vineyards. Production does not exceed 6 tons / ha. Vinification lasts 10-12 days, in which the grapes are put together with their own skin. Left to mature for 2 years in oak barrels of different sizes. As a result, the wine is aged in the glass and left to mature in the glass for another 8-12 months before being launched on the market.

This Brunello di Montalcino is a classic Banfi product. Obtained with selected Sangiovesse clones after 20 years of research. It is the most aristocratic combinestion of the tradition of obtaining wine in the Montalcino area with modern technologies.

Variety: 100% Sangiovese.

Bouquet: Etheric, ample, with subtle notes of vanilla.

Taste: Full, delicate, velvety and intense, with a slight taste of licorice, spices and tar.

Culinary recommendations: Wine is especially suitable for potentiating red meat dishes and aged cheeses.
