The Catleya estate is located in Corcova, Mehedinți. Where, a hundred years ago, the vineyards of the diplomat prince Anton Bibescu were.
This white wine is a combination of Feteasca Royal (70%) and Feteasca White (30%). It is the fruit of painstaking work, starting from the vineyard and ending with the transformation of the grapes into wine.
Nine months in barrel gives this cuvée a very open, unreserved nose of citrus, pear, chamomile and honey. A clean attack introduces a fresh and long taste with a silky and supple texture. Already very harmonious, this wine is set to evolve well.
Color: yellow-jasmine color with golden reflections.
Bouquet: spring flowers, honey, vanilla, pears and fresh walnuts.
Taste: acidity over medium, specific to the variety, is accompanied by a supple, floral attack, and then by a taste with complex notes of citrus.
