The refined Chardonnay in Chateau Cristi Chardonnay went through a process of fermentation and aging in oak barrels.
Bouquet: Full-bodied, with refined aromas of flowers, peaches, melon.
Taste: Rich gustatory structure, in which nuances of ripe apples, exotic fruits, vanilla stand out.
Food pairings: Serve with white meat or lean beef. Forms a harmonious pair with fruits, olives, pistachios, nuts and sweets.
Serving temperature: 6 –10°C.
Fermented and treated oak – 3 months.

Chardonnay Barrel Fermented, vintage 2018, became the “James Bond” of the competitions. Obtaining the highest possible score of all the wines of 2020. This wine won a total of 7 medals, including 4 gold and 3 silver.
Valul Lui Traian is where the vineyards of Chateau Cristi are located. It is a well-ventilated region, with light soils. The climate ensures exceptional conditions for the cultivation of vines, being influenced by the Black Sea and the forests of the Tigheci Hill.
It is located between the two walls of Trajan that used to protect the Roman Empire from the barbarians, on the same parallel 47 as the famous Boudreaux region of France.
