Compagnia Siciliana Grillo Blanche.
The name of the range “Compagnia Siciliana 1921” was inspired by the reference year of Sicilian wine, 1921. When the penetration of the famous Marsala wine on international markets drew the attention of the whole world to Sicily. Grillo is a Sicilian white grape variety. Most famous for its role in the island’s fortified Marsala wines.
The bottle appears to be dressed in typical Sicilian lace. Reminding of the fabrics used by Sicilian women. At the beginning of the 20th century.
The vineyards are located at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, in one of the best wine-growing areas in Italy.
The wines are much loved by critics and especially by Luca Maroni.
Colour: Bright. Golden yellow.
Bouquet: Delicate scent of orange blossoms. White peach, tropical fruits like mango and papaya.
Taste: Fresh, harmonious, floral and balanced. With delicate acidity. Long, mineral finish.
Food pairings: Serve with appetizers. Seafood, fish, and risotto.
Serving temperature: 12-14°C.
