Crama Bauer Merlot Jeroboam

Bauer Winery has demonstrated that Merlot can be used to create select wines in Romania; highlighting the unique character and expression of this grape variety in the chosen plots and by appropriate vinification methods for this variety. Bauer Merlot is the perfect example of exceptionally dry red wine; result of an underestimated grape variety in our lands. The production process begins by manually harvesting the grapes, using repeated methods and selecting the best of them. The fermentation process is carried out on the whole grape, just to seal the flavor. After fermentation in stainless steel barrels, the liqueur is drawn into small oak barrels, where it remains for 12 months until bottling. The result is a complex and fruity aroma, with subtle tannin accents and an intense, enviable color.
