As we have great confidence in the concept of terroir, authenticity and as there is no idea for us of the best / worst year or wine, we let the wines freely express the year they represents Compared to 2017 and 2019, the 2018 harvest was rather difficult, due to delayed and sometimes even incomplete ripening; accompanied by a rapid loss of acidity. As a result it was very difficult to harvest grapes with a physiological ripeness and a sugar-acidity balance. Despite all these inconveniences and with a rigorous selection; we managed to harvest healthy and ripe grapes to produce a classic dry Riesling with no “artificial makeup” but instead a lot of “nerve” and “crunchy” . Color: yellow. Bouquet: aromas of ripe yellow fruit. Taste: floral-fruity; with fresh acidity. Culinary combinations: We recommend serving wine with Asian or Indian spicy sweet food.
