The Merlot wine offered by the Bacanta range is a monosoi obtained by the traditional method, matured in new French barrels and stored in glass for several years. Color: Ruby-red, with purple reflections. Bouquet: Merlot Barique is an essential wine for the identity and tradition of Gîrboiu cream from Moldova. The bouquet has aromas of red fruits and spices subtly borrowed from ripening barriques. Taste: Complex, robust, with aromas of black cherries, cocoa and slightly sweetened with vanilla. The wine has soft tannins and medium acidity, which makes it pleasant and comparable to a French wine from the Bordeaux region. Culinary combinations: This wine is suitable for red meat dishes (pork, lamb , beef, mutton, turkey), breaded, with spices, served with mashed potatoes or Brussels sprouts.
