Gîrboiu Winery offers quiet and sparkling wines of the monosoi and coupage type; obtained by traditional winemaking methods with modern equipment and maturation in oak barrels. The team of winemakers from Cotești also benefits from the experience of the consulting oenologist Giovanni Menotti; in the continuous effort to offer to the public from Romania, and from abroad, the best wines from the Moldovan wine region. Livia is the name of a Latin gens, which lasted for generations on the territories ruled by the Roman Empire. In recognition of this name and its Latin tradition, Crama Gîrboiu gave birth to a unique and refined wine. The essence and aromas of this wine follow the nobility of the name Livia, and offer liqueurs of the best varieties, dry or semi-dry, White pink and red. Color: Intense red with ruby shades. Bouquet: Bouquet of red fruits, mixed, slightly hidden by the dominant aromas of vegetable aromas specific to the Romanian variety Feteasca Black. Taste: After a few minutes of aeration, we discover the velvety texture and the complex of aromas of blackberries, blueberries and cinnamon. Culinary combinations: A quality wine is welcome apples with game dishes, beef , sheep, grilled pork, or truffle-flavored cheeses. Serving temperature 12 – 14 ° C.
