Vincent Girardin Chassagne Montrachet 1st Cru Morgeot Blanc Vincent Girardin was born with a passion for wine and blood. He inherited it from his family and she helped him become one of the best producers in the place. Born into an old family of winemakers, whose history dates back to the seventeenth century, he worked in the vineyard as a child. But he always nurtured the ambition to make his own wine. This part of his story is relatively recent – it all started in 1980, at the age of 19, when his father, Jean Girardin, decided to divide his property in Santenay between the four children. Each received three hectares. Vincent’s passion spoke for itself, and his wines were quickly noticed by critics and connoisseurs around the world. In this way, it was able to expand to 22 ha, becoming one of the leading producers in the Côte de Beaune. However, there was no shortage of searches: between 1980 and 1990 he tried all the techniques used at the time, producing good but commercial wines. n Color: bright golden yellow Bouquet: mineral bouquet with notes of pineapple, pears, yellow peaches and Whiteflowers Taste: fresh, rich, velvety and mineral, with amazing balance, remarkable depth, aromas of ripe fruit and long finish, aromatic Culinary combinations: excellent as an appetizer or with seafood, shellfish, fish, chicken Serving temperature 12 ° C
