For this wine, the plots have an average yield of 6 tons / ha. Vinification method: The grapes, harvested by hand, were cleaned of bunches and lightly pressed. The juice obtained was clarified naturally, at temperature of 8-10¡C, for 48 hours. A slow fermentation followed, in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperaturebetween 16 and 18¡C. The wine was aged with fine yeasts, with periodic “batonnage” (mixing the yeasts) for 3-5 months. Tasting notes: A comforting, fresh wine, excellent for hot summer days. Although this Romanian grape variety is frequently used to create table wines, in the case of the one grown by Segarcea, its aromatic richness is fully exploited. It is a translucent, fragile wine, with intense notes of Whiteflowers and acacia flowers. The taste is dominated by freshness, feeling sour citrus notes.
