Gitana Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry red wine made exclusively from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety.
Fruits are harvested from the 160 hectares of the winery located in the region of Valul lui Traian. Maceration is done on the log, and the fermentation takes place in wooden vats for no less than 15 days. Processes is followed by maturation in oak barrels, for 1 year. The result is a mature, red, dry wine with a rich bouquet, rich in fruity aromas and touches of spices.
Color: intense ruby red, clear.
Bouquet: rich in aromas, predominant being blackberries and morocco.
Taste: full, balanced, with a hint of black and red currant, with shades of black pepper, strong tannins and a well-tempered astringent.
Culinary associations: grilled or smoked meat preparations; fried vegetables or spicy foods.
Serving temperature: 16 – 18°C.
