As the name of the winery suggests, the vineyard is located near the Turda Salt Mine. , more precisely about 100 meters from it, on the Durgău Hills, an area with a centuries-old tradition in viticulture, dating from the Roman Empire, when the settlement known today as Turda was called Potaissa.
