LacertA Cuvee X Case 6 x 750ml
LacertA Cuvee X is LacertA’s flag ship white wine obtained from a unique blend of four varieties with origins in the Old World. From France Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, from Germany Riesling from the Rhine Valley, both with aromas of white fruit and citrus. The blend is perfect for the Romanian variety Feteasca White, with vegetal aromas of grass or wildflowers.
Color: bright color and light green reflexions.
Bouquet: a fantastic and elegant blend, this white wine has lovely citrus fruit aromas that perfectly blend the apple, grapefruit, banana and freshly mown hay notes.
Taste: fresh, complex and well structured with aromas of peach, honey and pomelo. With a long and lingering aftertaste.
Food pairings: suitable with white meat (chicken, turkey, lamb) and grilled fish, seafood menus, or cheeses.
Serving temperature: 8 – 10 °C.
The LacertA vineyards are located south of the Carpathian Mountains, along Parallel 45. Which passes through Piedmont and Bordeaux. Beneficial positioning is only the first resemblance to the famous wine regions.
In Muntenia the area is known for the viticulture practiced by the locals since 7000 years ago. From the times of Dacia and the Roman Empire. This left a legacy the wine culture as it did in the heart of the Empire and in the territories that became today’s France.
In Muntenia spring is dry, autumn is sunny and the soil is fertile and clean. Great for rich vineyards that stretch over hundreds of hectares. In the same place, among the vineyards you can often see green lizards. From these the Latin name of this wine was borrowed in 2011: LacertA.
