Luis Duarte – Rubric – Reserva Tinto 2017 Climate – “Continental-Mediterranean”, with little rainfall, low temperature at night and much higher during the day.The region is semi-arid with long summer and hot with high thermal amplitude before grape harvest Soil characteristics – magnesium sedimentary clay and sandy loam and sandy loam layers with marked horizons Soils are poor in organic matter, acids and medium natural fertility with a high water retention capacity. Bouschet, Aragonese, Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Petit Verdot Alcohol: 14.5% Vol. Alk. Intense and concentrated aromas of ripe berries, blackberries, blueberries, blackcurrants, prunes and black cherries, excellently packaged in aromas of violets and spices. Structured with robust but well-integrated tannins, balanced, complex and with elegant shades of vanilla and cedar. Pleasant acidity and long aftertaste.
