Gitana Rohrbach Monastery

Made exclusively from the variety Riesling, this mature white wine from the Gitana range impresses with its elegance and refinement.

The grapes are picked by hand at the end of November from the hill with the most good solar exposure, from a region with an impressive history. Once upon a time, here it was a monastery of monks who took care of with wine production.

The wine is aged in oak barrels for a period of 9 months. Has a large and sophisticated character, a special bouquet and an excellent balance.

Color: straw yellow.

Bouquet: intense, complex bouquet. Dominated by notes of honey, orange peel, juicy peaches and wildflowers.

Taste: Rich fruit aromas, especially peach, wrapped in honey accents and mineral influences.

Culinary combinations: foie gras, sushi, seafood or tuna.

Serving temperature: 12 – 14°C.
