Recas Oaks Chardonnay is the flagship variety of Recas.

Oaks Chardonnay joins the established wine portfolio, a new label “Oaks” and 100% Chardonnay content. A super-premium wine. Oenologist Hartley Smithers is the creator of this special wine. He crowns with this wine: the epic of Chardonnay wines created in the Recas winery in the 14 years of successful collaboration.

Vinified in the style of the new world. Highest production standards are applied and with a careful supervision of the chardonnay plot from which the wine is produced. Recas Oaks Chardonnay develops floral scents wrapped in the freshness of exotic fruits. The taste is balanced and offers a pleasant and fresh acidity that delights the taste buds.

Berliner Wine Trophy – gold medal; Vinales Internationales – gold medal.

Bouquet: olfactory the wine opens with unctuous notes and oriental spices. Crisp yellow fruits, such as golden apples and pears. Notes of fresh bread; vanilla and caramelized butter complete the complex profile of this bouquet.

Taste: dry and full-bodied, with a minerality typical for the oak. Woody notes of the barrique and the alcohol are perfectly integrated and give it the consistency and roundness of a high-class Chardonnay. A wine in full evolution, with the potential to age in the bottle.

Culinary associations: risotto with white truffles, prepared from fish (turtle, sole, whiting) and seafood; semi-ripened cheeses: Comté, gruyère, gouda; poultry dishes (pheasant, partridge, duck, quail) with thick and creamy sauces; fine pastry.

Serving temperature: 12 – 14 °C.
