Regno Recas range represents the homage of the producer brought to the Banat terroir on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Recas Wineries. The wine range includes 8 labels.

Message visually transmitted by the labels – the portrait – is inspired by the technique of the Renaissance painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo. The vision of the Florentine painter was reinterpreted by the Vali painter Irina Ciobanu. She managed to transpose into the portraits that dominate the labels of the range; the olfactory-gustatory personality of each category.

The Pinot Noir variety, known for its difficulty, is tamed by the Recas wineries. Local climatic conditions encourage the development and depth of flavor. In the case of Pinot Noir it all depends wether the grapes have what it takes to produce a wine good red. Recas vineyards consistently excel in this regard.

Recas winemaking remains simple. The skins are only lightly worked to get soft tannins and sweet fruit. The use of wood oak is balanced with the intensity of the aroma, and the wine is bottled early to preserve its freshness.

Color: purple red, with intense purplish reflections, good clarity.

Bouquet: intense aromas of red and black fruits (cherries, blueberries , cranberries) and floral (violet).

Taste: good acidity, medium body, pleasant tannins, good dynamics. With a slightly bitter (blueberry) and spicy finish. Balance between flavors, alcohol and tannins.

Culinary associations: bruschetta with mushrooms; appetizers based on prosciutto, chorizo, Iberico ham, tuna; semitic cheeses; terrine pâtés; rabbit at oven; desserts based on red fruits.
