Recas Selene Cabernet Sauvignon

From grapes from the best plots on the hills of Recas, harvested at night to protect them from heat and to protect their intense aroma, the Selene range has appeared. Named after the incarnation of the Moon in Greek mythology. Selene means to enjoy the pleasant coolness and light of the moon. It means passion and intensity.

Bouquet: blackberries, currants, cherries); slightly grassy after aeration (fern). You can feel the good interaction with the oak wood. The wine opens beautifully with complex scents of vanilla, cinnamon. Interesting finish with hints of skin and hot spice (green pepper).

Taste: very good acidity, fast attack, dynamic tannins (especially lateral), equally velvety and round, with quick finish and long lasting aftertaste. Vegetable aromas. Intense aromas of fruit (plums, currants), braided with brown sugar and dates, light hints of vanilla, apricot, leather and licorice (at the end).

Culinary associations: traditional dishes Romanian, pastrami, medium and large game, veal, Goulash, ducks wild boar pork, beef dishes. Cheese with mold. Desserts with cherries, blackberries, currants, chocolate.
