Recas Selene Feteasca Black 6 x 750ml

The Selene range appeared from grapes from the best vineyards on the hills of Recas. The grapes are harvested at night to protect them from heat and to protect their intense aroma. It is named after the incarnation of the Moon in Greek mythology. Selene means to enjoy the pleasant coolness and light of the moon. It means passion and intensity.

Color: dark ruby, with purple robe, good clarity.

Bouquet: Vegetable aromas followed by intense aromas of black fruits (plums, blueberries), and tomatoes (cherries, currants), braided with brown sugar and dates, light hints of vanilla, cinnamon, pepper and skin (at the end) .

Taste: Very good acidity, medium body. It opens nicely after decanting for at least 30 minutes, ripe, young and active tannins, which support the entire structure and announce a good evolution in the next two years. Long finish, slightly spicy.

Culinary associations: traditional Romanian dishes, sheep pastrami, medium and large game, veal, beef, eggplant “a la parmiggiana”, matured cheeses.

Serving temperature 14 – 16 °C.
