The Selene line is made from grapes from the best vineyards on the hills of Recas, harvested at night to protect them from heat and to protect their intense aroma. Named after the incarnation of the Moon in Greek mythology. Selene means to enjoy the pleasant coolness and light of the moon. It means passion and intensity.
Color: red-purple, with intense purple reflections and good clarity.
Bouquet: intense aromas of black fruit (blueberries, black cherries), smoky and leathery aspects, along with shades of black pepper.
Taste: well-integrated acidity; well-pronounced body. With ripe, round tannins, a velvety wine with a good balance between aromas, alcohol and tannins.
Culinary associations: cheeses with chime; veal carpaccio; barbecue; venison (deer) with mustard sauce; lamb chops; desserts based on red fruits, nuts, almonds, raisins.
