Roux Pere wines & Fils have been produced since 1885 by Fernand Roux, in the small French village of Saint-Aubin, in the Burgundy wine region. The Roux family started the production of wine with grapes harvested from 4 hectares. Fils owns 70 hectares of vineyards and is one of the 10 owners with the largest plots of land in the Burgundy region. Roux Pere wines are obtained & Sons include Chambolle-Musigny, Chassagne-Montrachet, Gevrey-Chambertin and Aloxe-Corton. For over 130 years, Fernand Roux’s descendants have been producing a wide range of wines from classic WhiteBurgundy wines to Pin Cru Noir and Chardonnay Grand Cru wines. ASPECT: Intense golden yellow. GUST: It is a true demonstration of the potential of Chardonnay grapes in terms of richness, power, flavor concentration, distinction and balance, but especially complexity. Rarely do we see such a perfect synthesis between the grape variety and the terroir. CULINARY ASSOCIATION: The special flavor of this Chardonnay urges the best culinary choices. Whitemeat, especially grilled chicken breast, pond chicken legs, saltwater fish in salads, lobster and ocean crab. The flavors of this monosoi are also recommended for meals with Japanese cuisine – sushi and sashimi. TEMP. SERVING: 10 – 12 ° C.
