Licorna Serafim Cabernet Sauvignon

The Licorna Winehouse estate is located in Dealu Mare and includes tens of hectares of vineyards and a mansion from the beginning of the 20th century; with its own cellar, used by the first owners more than 100 years ago. Wines are kept in the cellar of the Licorna mansion; when matured in 80 barrels of different types of oak and three buds of 2000 liters. Production is concentrated on red wines; followed by Whiteones; processed and matured in French oak vessels and aged in glass for at least two months. Seraphim is one of the five ranges of the producer Licorna, in which there are classic wines, with particularities for each plot and variety. Color: Intense ruby. Bouquet:: Aromas of red berries and orchard fruits; with vegetal notes. A few minutes of aeration allows the wine to offer the scent of the generous barrel in aromas of coconut, black pepper and cinnamon. Taste: A short decantation brings the full aromatic potential; defined by the consistent body; balanced, fruity and slightly spicy. There are also soft tannins that ensure a medium to long post-taste. Culinary combinations: Traditional Romanian dishes as well as dishes from Asian cuisine, based on pork, beef, lamb, sheep, ducks, goose. This Cabernet is also a good choice for snacks with Gorgonzola, Blue Stilton or Danish Blue flavored cheeses.
