Ktima Gerovassiliou Viognier is a wine made with skill and imagination. Fermentation in barrels enriches this natural variety with an impressive and exuberant aroma. The sensation on the nose and palate is fascinating. A special Whitewine, for those looking for something different. Rich, aromatic, multilayered, with good acidity and a good finish. Protected Geographical Indication “Epanomi”. The Viognier variety with floral aromas was initially planted on the estate in 1993 under the supervision of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Vinification begins with contact with the solid parts followed by fermentation in French oak barrels. Finally, the wine is matured on yeast to enrich its creamy taste and flavor. Intense golden color; presents aromas of peaches, pears and tobacco accents at the end. It drinks very well young but lasts for several years. Culinary associations: crab or fresh lobster; asparagus and shrimp salads; Asian cuisine.
