Jidvei Extra Brut

Jidvei has been producing sparkling wines using traditional methods for over 60 years. Fermented, clarified and delivered in the same bottle as the second fermentation. This gives them their signature pearl.

One year is required to obtain sparkling wines. Processes carried out during this time – steeping, fermentation, stirring, disgorging – are carried out manually. The varieties used are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

These are classic varieties for the production of sparkling wines, to which a marked touch of varieties specific to the Tarnave winery, such as Feteasca Royal, is added. Because it requires a great deal of sensitivity and is usually entrusted to the most experienced oenologist.

Jidvei Extra Brut combines harmoniously balanced acidity with fresh aromas of green apples and citrus fruits. Result is a special sparkling wine that impresses with its naturalness and freshness. The fine and at the same time persistent pearl is rounded off by notes of wild flowers and aromatic herbs and the minerality characteristic of the Tarnave winery. Serve well chilled.

Color: clear, pearly and persistent; yellow-green.
